As most of you know by now, I’m leaving my position at () after 12 incredible years of service; tomorrow will be my last day.
With this, I wanted to take an opportunity to bid farewell to everyone and express my utmost gratitude for making my time here an absolute dream.
I have so enjoyed working at () and especially appreciate having had the opportunity to work in the () Group for the last 5 years with Dr. S. During this time you’ve all provided me strength, support, and solace – through your encouragement and guidance I have been able to excel at the projects I undertook. With many of you, I’ve shared special affinities and built unique rapports – these, I hope, will continue in the years to come.
As I move on, I’ve had a chance to remember and reminisce on our times together. It’s been amazing interacting and knowing each one of you, and a privilege working with you all. I will miss your enthusiasm, perseverance, kindness, compassion, resilience, and of course, the talent that everyone brought to our group.
As I embark on this next chapter of my life, I do so with excitement for what’s up ahead. But rest assured, there is tremendous sadness in leaving my () family. I will miss you all, and I’ll cherish and treasure everyone, every day, and every memory – no matter how big or small – as they have shaped the person I am today.
It is difficult to say goodbye, and I’ve come to realize that I don’t want to do so at all. I may be leaving the hospital, but I am not leaving my friends. Think of this not so much as goodbye, but more along the lines of see you soon.
From the very bottom of my heart, I will miss you – I love you, and thank you.
