English Seminar “To Be Green, to be a Canadian”

A Seminar named “To Be Green, to be a Canadian”, organized by The Green Party of Ontario and THE BRIDGE English Club, will be held on Oct 1, 2008 in Toronto. Two candidates of The Green Party, Wayne Clements and Ella Ng, will give presentation on various political, social and environmental issues.

The Green Party is one of the important political parties with widespread influence across Canada. As being green becomes a strong social trend, The Green Party is gaining more and more influence in Canadian society.

THE BRIDGE English club was founded on July 20, 2008 with more than 50 members now. As an English learning and culture exchange club, THE BRIDGE aims at helping members to uplift English communication skills and promoting culture exchange and mutual understanding between Chinese community and the main stream society.

    • Just to make it more noticeable, the seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 7 pm. It is the first time for a group of Chinese immigrants to organize such a high level seminar.
