I am not anyhow trying to dismiss other people's talent. I just noticed this is a fact. Now my friends would say according to my standard, he's not good enough. But the purpose is not to pick problems, the purpose is to correct these problems if we can spot them.

发音确实很重要，学了美音发音后我感觉看电视听力提高不少。别告诉我说英国人，印度人都能听懂美音，虽然他们发音不同。我也能听懂东北话，河南话，虽然我不会说，因为中文是我的母语。但老外学中文必须学到大山的水平才能听懂各地方言。
改进发音后别人能听懂你说什么，这点也很重要。有口音没关系，别人听不懂你关系就大了。面试时有这么一两次就fail了。

Pronunciation is important, to be exact. I learned my lesson from job interview. Once or twice bad pronunciation failed an interview.

Lot of people including my friends said you don't have to speak exactly like locals in terms of pronounciation, as long as you make yourself understood well, it's OK. I just demand myself more and I achieved it in that aspect. I like to share experiences with those who desire the same.

they don't have the patience or interest most likely,
if you ask them, all they can do is to pronounce it correctly. when it comes down to how YOU can do it right, they have no ideas.

That's why I took jerry's course and also want to talk to other people who has successfully gain improvement in this area.

while the other point is that when you talk to your peers, you would focus on commnucation and content rather than intonation and pronunciation. So it's totally different approach in my opinions
